Art Statement
Mark making serves as a language for me through which I articulate and give voice to the emotions that inspire my drawings and paintings. Whether capturing the essence of a landscape, a person’s face, or the dynamics between a parent and child, these marks become the expressive vocabulary of my art. When I’m busy with my art, its comparable to dancing, a jubilant rhythm that fills me with boundless joy.

My art is a valuable tool for translating the intricacies of life onto the canvas. Mixed media serves as my playground, offering me freedom to experiment with realism to abstraction. Travelling fuels my creativity, and watercolour becomes a swift, yet wonderful brush to capture fleeting scenes. Faces beckon me – they are stories waiting to be told. Life drawing holds immense value for me, not only as a means to refine my drawing skills but also as a good exercise in capturing the emotions and character of the model.

This artistic journey is not merely a creation, it’s a dynamic manifestation of my purpose, a thrilling exploration with my Creator of what I was born to do. My deepest aspiration is to share this joy, this blessing with viewers, inviting them into a world where the paper or canvas becomes a vessel for the profound connection between Creator, artist, and observer.
